Process Review

What do these steps look like?  Creating a singular process flow or library of processes by capturing a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.  This can be mapped against an existing taxonomy, fill a gap in a taxonomy or map processes outside of a framework or structure 

Automation Review

Can we automate, should we automate? Finding areas of improvement and automation across business processes with opportunities for time and effort saving for end users.  Identifying which systems would be impacted, what the effort to automate would be and which tool is best to use to implement. 

Process Architecture

Where do these processes sit within my organisation?  Introducing and embedding a taxonomy, a capability model or process structure will enable you to define traceability and control around your services.  Against this model you can prioritise and scale the time and effort dedicated to documenting processes and complimenting artefacts. 

Value Stream Mapping

What's the value in this?  We can help breakdown a process to identify which steps add value and which add none or subtract value.  This will help make decisions if you're looking to drive as much efficiency as possible.  It can reduce the amount of resource effort required in a process or even the number of steps taken to get from A to B.  

SLAM Process

What's the issue with this revolving door?  Most organisations have a huge problem with their starters, leavers and movers process and require a complete overhaul or lots of interconnecting issues which need addressing.  Either way, getting the process and all of it's components laid out in an end to end flow will identify and call out problem areas.  If there's a quick fix, we can work in house with your team to resolve or we can identify a solution.  It's easier to fix when we know what's wrong. 

Requirements Gathering

What do I need this system to do? Understanding the business needs and wants from a change, system introduction or upgrade and how it will be benefited the most by the organisation.  This can be through a business case or assessment basis, a questionnaire to key decision makers. 

Benefits Realisation

What's my ROI? Documenting Business Benefits as part of conception is the easy part, ensuring there are measures and mechanisms in place to realise those is the difficult part.  Development of a framework, governance and reporting structure, metrics and a network of end users to report on progress regularly or utilising software back end reporting function to provide metrics on key processes. 

Capacity Planning

Stretching from Pillar to Post?  Understanding where resources are allocating their time at a task level will enable you to plan appropriately.  It will also highlight where resources are being pulled in directions that are not aligned with their critical tasks or workstream.  Identifying when they will be available  

Training Needs Analysis

Who needs Training and How?  Determine which courses you will teach based on the content to be covered, the number of resources attending, the number of resources required to remain in BAU and provide coverage against the window of time to deliver.  This calculation and analysis will provide your organisation with clarity on the training process and how many trainers will be required to deliver within the window.  This can help estimate effort and cost. 

SWOT Analysis
